Does Firefox need to run separate versions in a VM or is it safe to run together on same machine?

That is good news for Windows users, still a bit of a cludge though, I'd rather not have to run different versions of applications in a virtual machine, things can get too messy.

Myself, I'm primarily a Mac user and now that I've switched to Intel I run Windows in a virtual machine. As VirtualPC does not work in Intel macs then this image is no good for me, fortunately my company pays for all the software that I need so paying for XP is not a problem for me.

Generally the Intel Mac is a great development platform, I have a Mac Pro with 30" screen which is just a delight to work with. I can virtualise Linux and Windows and that makes testing so easy. OS X is a delight too.
